Ok "Sergeant"....I had a quick look into PWT after your comment that 'this week is the week". Thats what I tend to do before buying a stock. A post on Hotcopper saying its "going to go" is not in the buffet methodology for investing.

This is what ifound before I stopped.

Just over amonth ago, PWT issued 2.5 BILLION new shares at 2 cents per shares. Guess what. It closed under-subscribed and the difference went to the under-writer. So one month ago, a lot people that looked into the company prospects thought that 2 cents per share was more than it was worth.

So why on earth would anyone pay 4 cents per share on the market. Especially given that 2.5 billion shares coming onto the market quite soon where selling them now is an instant doubling of their money.

PWT made a net loss last year of $16 million dollars.

They lost 1.8 cents per share on 2 cent shares.

They had to issue new shares to try and reduce debt....


Thats when I stopped wasting time.

Its a spec trade only at the moment, and you would want to be watching it like a hawk for when to bail.
