None of the other companies with working prototypes (Lily has 200) have managed to get into production, most of them after at least 12 months.
They have to get this right first time. Putting a half baked product into the market just to get first mover advantage will be a disaster if it isn't almost perfect. Too many bad reviews about poor performance will kill it before it gets off the ground (so to speak!).
