Sounds a hell of a lot like a Dictatorship to me!!! Especially in this current situation, when they have the shield of not having to put ANYTHING to the people's vote, even MAJOR changes, having lied about their intentions prior to a previous election!
Like everything in life, Dictatorship starts with baby steps - insidious and stealthy -and like an implanted alien embryo it's evils gradually creep up on any unwary p0opulation population who are either disinterested in anything beyond their own selfish interests, or who are not a wake-up, via gullibility or sheer ignorance, until it's far too late. People then whinge, whine, and revolt - helpless to do anything!
actually, your terminology "mad, stubborn, ideologue", is a description which fits Ms. Gillard's reckless irrationality and arrogant derision to a t!
Hopefully, enough of us ARE wake-up. Even if we have to wait two years to do something top stop her damage.
