Aus bank are very well covered as we have a great governing authority APRA. Australians cannot just walk away from their loans like the US. Aus banks cannot be compared to their US equivelant. Also our banks have already doubled their provisioning for this event, by doubling their liquid assets which has seen a decrease in their share price becuase basically they doubled their cash/highly liquid holdings.
