think the days of the US$ being the trade currency are very numbered. it is being supported by those who do as they are told, the real money has been looking for an alternative for a long time, the Aussie will hover at current parity levels I hope, but the us is going to be usurped I feel, by the YUAN
already happening with Chinas trading partners in bi lateral trade deals. once it is seen as a credible alternative with real wealth baking up its value the YUAN will be the currency into the future.
