It would be great if the USD POG was to rise with AUD staying put at parity with USD. This would mean the 'carry trade' won't unwind.
Benefit of carry trade staying put is that OS invested money will stay in the stock market - thus supporting the SP of listed companies. With POG going up in both AUD and USD we can expect money to flow into gold miners.
We sit and wait!!!
By the way interesting to note that there was no selloff after the AGM. I'm sure questiosn were asked re: recent production ...... no panic at this stage - all things going to plan???
