    DaveR the NSW labor party paid his bills in secret, so that is why I posted the question.

    Thomson failed to declare it in the parliamentary register, so he has prior form on these matter, so that is why I posted the question.

    I also defend their right to a fair trial, hence I made no comment about the merit or otherwise of either persons' case, unlike yourself.

    The LNP didn't pay any of Slippers' legal bills to my knowledge unlike the secret payments to Thomson by the NSW ALP. Different standards apply there no doubt about it.
