Thomson's lawyer, Chris McCardle, just interviewed on SKynews.
Very VERY beligerent. He said that the police will not lay criminal charges against Thomson and if they do, he will get off on the first hearing. Don't know how McCardle knows this.
He also threatened defamation action against people who comment adversely against Thomson. Apparently one action has already been launched.
McCardle says that his client is INNOCENT and that this whole matter is being manipulated for political purposes.
McCardle came across as a very nasty piece of work.
