On the subject above, its a bit ironic that Joe Hockey got in to serious trouble a few years ago when the ASX (the company) was floated. He made some remark and was taken to task for giving financial advice without a licence. He only escaped penalty by the skin of his teeth.
Today Lindsay Tanner (who?) advised people without shame to invest their super in bonds and not in 'risky' equities. But so far not a mumrmur from ASIC.
