That can happen on both sides but I still think Labor have sent enough signals for people to work them out. It is hard to accept that the party you vote for can be bad or corrupt. It’s not easy to change when you have your heart set on a political group. It’s a bit like wanting your favourite car only to find out it’s a dud. I have changed votes once and I went back. Voting for the coalition was many people’s way of saying I want the least harmful more competent group of people who had less nutty ideology and dubious connections. I also wanted a party who was actually more interested in the public and the country than themselves. No selling out to China or playing with our borders. Not an easy task today. If we want a better life we can’t just vote for parties who don’t think beyond winning an election. Handouts and class warfare might work in the bent union movement, but not so well at an election. Labor keep making the same mistake because they promote unionists up the leadership ladder. The same sort of people who dislike their own employees. Big problems on the policy front just waiting to happen right there. Trust is key and people don’t trust politicians and yet Labor are taking this to a new level. Cleanavent and Mushroom workers are another Shorten causality. That is Labors fault, not ours , Clives, Murdoch’s or the govt. they are doing something very wrong and won’t change. That should not a be a surprise to anyone. Would anyone allow a crook into their house, run your business, do your banking or tell you what to do and think? It seems like many think that is OK. Maybe that’s the weirdest thing of all. It’s a perception problem and it’s self created.

Yes we all know the Liberal Party's antic's would never fail the pub test :S Remember the 99 year lease of the Darwin Port to the Communist Party? Point is both sides cant be trusted and the naive ones are the ones who think one party is better than the other. "Former senior Coalition minister Andrew Robb has been appointed as an economic consultant with the Landbridge Group, after resigning as the trade minister in February, and from the Parliament at the July election. Mr Robb was a minister when the government encouraged states and territories to sell and lease assets, and defended the 99-year Darwin lease to Landbridge as a minister ."
