    liitle guy the yen closed at around 63.5 at 31 Dec, had to be above 60 . Its now 65 and the Japs are jawboning it weaker . A yen rate below 60 would have been bad news

    the other issue is the impact of the slowdown on valuations . That is harder to pick.
