    BHP Billiton is the worlds largest producer of silver at 42 million ounces in 2009 thanks mainly to the Cannington mine in QLD producing 33.76 million ounces making it the single second largest silver mine in the world. BHP were not even slightly interested on hearing that there were serious allegations that the silver price on COMEX was being manipulated when i contacted them in August 2010. Cheers.
