    In a sense I think your right
    'this is the cash cost that is here to stay'

    the cost represents how much to process x amount of dirt.

    There will be some variation, how far do they need to move the dirt, how much overburden needs to be moved to get at the dirt.

    The cost in $/oz still has room to move though, if head grade improves so should it.

    I am assuming this will happen with the mount and open pit coming on line and there is less availability to process low grade ore (unless they choose to continue processing it)

    So I think analysts can even see that , but short term wait and see.
