No public uproar if a car stops for red light, or slows for amber.

Same for a car below the speed limit.

Then why the controversy if fracking happens below thresholds, or adhere to the traffic light system?

The very essence of fracking is to cause seismic impact, on an extremely low level, not noticable at surface. 

The reactions are absurd and surreal. Silly to buy this protestors bluff.

From next month onward they will link any case of cancer in the area to the PNR operations. Let’s not be naïve. The protestors only have to shout abd claim. They don’t have to prove anything to make their case. It’s 100% emotive.
