It's either there or it isn't. Changing the style of drilling isn't going to change that. Can dig for it with shovels and dynamite for all it matters, will still get the same answer - it'll just take longer and more money to get there.
Let's not forget that diamonds more expensive than RC. So they're throwing the budget at this program. Let's hope they hit, because options will be that much more limited until more capital is found if they don't.
