Just checked the latest chart for the DJIA - down 1.55% but on VERY low volumes despite the strong negative SH reaction to Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac in reponse to apparently 'overstated' & sensational reporting by Barron at the weekend.

That appears to have taken the wind out of Klopper's sails overnight. After being well up early Wall St doom & gloom dragged BHP back, but at the close of trade BHP was recovering & ended up for the session.
IMO the US is so shell-shocked atm that it doesn't appear able to distinguish between cash cows & lemons.
