I can see this becoming a huge fad that captures the imagination, and so IOT will sell heaps of them. The only two issues of concern are competitors and the law. Certainly, competitors can rise quickly. So it's up to IOT to grab market share as fast as possible, and they seem to be doing well with that. So that leaves the law.

Here's one quote about remote control helicopters and drones, and the bottom line seems to be avoid populated areas, so parks, beaches, large backyards, etc are fine, but Sydney Opera House is a no go:

"The FAA says not to fly higher than 400 feet above ground level. You should also fly away from populated areas, full size aircraft, and 3 miles from an airport. You also shouldn’t use RC helicopters, or quadcopters (or “drones”) for business purposes. Also use enough common sense to stay away from people, cars, power lines, buildings, etc. The laws regarding drones may vary from state to state, and even from country to country. Many overseas countries may have fewer restrictions than the US, especially regarding aerial photography. Australia is said to have very liberal laws."

NB: IOT says the Roam-e has collision protection.
