It's all about timing. Places like Zero Hedge have been calling the collapse since 2010. Is the market massively manipulated? Sure. It reminds me of the anecdote about Doc Holliday who stood trial for shooting a man dead in a crooked poker game. The prosecutor asked him if he knew the game was rigged. He replied he did. The prosecutor pressed home his attack and asked then why did he play? Doc Holliday's response was, "It was the only game in town..". He was acquitted.
