Hi Monsters,
The key for me is the paucity of communication from management and their failure to set firm deadlines. In the absence of any meaningful news, the slide of the SP is the only feedback that shareholders receive following their investment. As someone who regularly buys contrarian stocks this in itself doesn't usually faze me (especially when it is generally for a period of weeks or months rather than 2 years) but were the failure to communicate meaningful progress to be coupled with institutional selling then I would be very, very concerned that bad news was being withheld. I've been tempted to buy more at these levels but have held back due to management communication and have instead taken advantage of other cheap stocks where there is not the same lingering concern.
I've been a disappointed holder for two years now and have resolved to sell by Q1 2012 unless I see concrete progress.
