Hey tooter, I would definitely like more info on the announcement re pump #2 "shutdown"
My take is that they did just that, "shut it down" if it failed they should tell us.
So it leads me to believe this was on purpose because of the flow rate
ESP's don't get serviced, (the engines supplying the electric motor do) they fail and you then replace them, also ESP's are driven by variable speed drives VSD, ESP's will have a minimum speed which is to do with pump size/power supply/Hz
So my take is that they have shut ESP #2 down due to the possibility that 2 ESP's running on minimum Hz was drawing down to fast.
I hope this is the case, more info is definitely required
