Thoughts on impact for UWL with recent NBN FTTP annoucement?

    What are people's views on the recent NBN annoucement of Fibre To The Premise (FTTP)?

    Seems UWL targets rollouts of fibre in new devleopments and new buildings. And this announcement is really about rolling out into exisiting premises. Also the actuall connection to the premise (under this annoucement) will only happen if that person puts in a request and commits to the higher NBN plans. So the take up will be low.

    So i don't think there are any negatives for UWL.

    Please challenge my thinking.
