not to be too controversial here, but while the email was polite, it had undertones of questioning breaches of a director’s and the boards integrity with respect to their fiduciary duty to the company under corps law.

I know we all think that the chairman should be more caring but god Knows how many inane requests he receives everyday from two bit shareholders (counting myself in this category too - small holder relative to 6.5bn shares, not in the inane question category!) each thinking they are more important than the next.

I for one would rather the chairman be focused on the company rather than responding and pandering to countless questions he cannot answer by law and passive aggressive questioning of a directors legal obligations.

I would expect large shareholders would get a more professional response, but would know not to make inappropriate allegations.
