Is it correct that the location of SNE2 , (when going by the schematic that you posted with the thin sand and blocky sand), is then intended to be drilled through 2x sections of blocky sands. (That is to the left of the current SNE1 well location)It also appears that, at that point (SNE2, the thin sand will be gaseous, dipping upward into gas area but the S540 blocky sands will then fall in oil section).
Also of note, having just revisited the recent video that CN and FAR created, CN at least on 2 occasions state that the there are numbers (particularly the "thin reservoir sands") that are not included in the preliminary figures. Just on that alone, the initial SNE1 figures might increase by at least 50% so it seems. Is that your reading?
By the look of it we might be sitting on a 500mb at SNE and that this number (perhaps a bit more), will be confirmed by SNE2?
If detailed analysis on SNE1 is complete, and from what CN states, there seems to be definite upgrade in the initial reservoir numbers, is it not reasonable to expect that these revised numbers be released to the market? Before appraisal commences? Or could it be a case that they withhold the revised numbers pending confirmation from the first appraisal well? (the touted "Christmas present") .
Interesting the "somewhat earlier than expected" CR which cater for existing SH. Might Peter2001 be correct in his TH prediction?? Not sure about a T/H but certainly an announcement - we all expect spud date in the coming week... that, coupled with updated SNE1 figures might put the blue whale among the krill.
