A few posters have suggested that VMS are looking at a new project opportunity in West Africa.
I'm not sure one way or the other but it is interesting to note that Venture's Management Consultant, Hamish Halliday, was previously MD of African focused Adamus Resources. Adamus owns the Southern Ashanti Gold Project in Ghana in West Africa.
Halliday was a founding director of Adamus and played a key role in acquiring the Southern Ashanti Gold Project. He would no doubt have a network of contacts in West Africa and know of other project opportunities in the region. He is no longer a director of Adamus and may be looking for a home for a new project opportunity.
