This is just my view, but appears to be typical of the way larger companies deal with minnows. As spyglass has said, (“now watch GALP strike oil”). Agree! They don’t seem to be in any hurry to leave the permit and perhaps knew that they were not quite on the money on this drill but want to stay to do more without being strapped to an irritating company such as TPT.
I am dismayed with the seeming open ended agreement which has it seems through oversight by our employees, (directors) drained our coffers……and now wresting one of the most prospective blocks in Morocco from us because we have succumbed.
A hard lesson for us and tbh if EH and Co had stayed around we would have suffered the same indignity. Can’t imagine what Brent Villemarette will be thinking as he is a qualified petroleum engineer and had input as to the drill location. I had viewed him as the lynch pin in this exercise.
And we pay these people to promote and protect our interests. Just goes to show that in business, the gloves are off. I wonder if they had the agreement proof read by a legal fraternity. If they did, we should not use them again. If not, then I question the expertise of our management team who purport to have the necessary qualifications and experience to deal with sharp business dealings.
Scandalous! But going to hold…..they owe us big time and I hope they read this.
Regards.
