Agree...FIRB need to approve or approve with ammendments. If they reject outright...well, we have seen how much Australian Institutions like supporting their own....they'd rather kick 'em when they are down.
No FIRB need to approve in some shape or form, then it will bring out other potential bids...you would be a bit naive to bid amongst youself when approvals aren't even in place...big investors have better things to do.
Ultimately it will be the Shareholders that will vote.
