@cutty, I am a SEC holder. They seem to have a fairly rigorous selection process, but then go and stuff it up with one poor stock choice. In this months it was CL1. They sound good with their monthly reports but always seem to fail near the finish line. I don’t know if they are victims of the current market situation or volatility of individual stocks, but they just seem to be marking time and don’t seem to be outperforming. I think in the longer term they will be OK, but I have been disappointed at the time they have taken to “produce the goods”. Very early on, they had a couple of great picks which were taken over, in particular Sirtex, but they lost their nerve and sold far too early thereby sacrificing quite a significant profit. I have topped up on a couple of occasions, but as previously stated, they have disappointed and just don’t seem to be picking stocks which are significant winners. If you don’t do that, you aren’t a winner yourself. And if you have SEC shares, you don’t win either. And that’s, me ! As I said, I think they will do well over time, perhaps when the market reverts to the norm, but there’s no indication when that will occur....
