Agree with the logic. I remember just before Syrah confirmed first production, a certain institution which was a major shareholder sold everything down, and ceased to be a major holder - that was a couple of weeks prior to that announcement.
It was then revealed later they were the major shorter of the stock, of course people see the major hold dump their stock and the price falls.
Around a week prior to the positive announcement coming, said institution then becomes a major holder, the stock jumps on release of the announcement. The manipulation is extremely frustrating, and certainly think the watch dog has fallen asleep at the wheel here.
