Hopefully the boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) LIS use are easier to introduce into high speed production processes than the nanoporous polymers that monash are developing, I'm guessing that the former is a dry process vs the latter being a solvent based deposition requiring drying and if I'm correct, this will add cost and complexity to the Monash vs the LIS solution. This could also be the case with other competing lithium sulpher battery tech.
