I can confirm I am a premium subscriber and barely noticed any disruptions, albeit on iOS which seems to be rated much better (4.9 / 5 star average, 97k Ratings).
I can still access the calendar of memories easily.
The reality is, migrating everyone to a subscription model was always going to ruffle a few feathers. It will just be a minor bump in the road given time.
The value proposition is still significant for those who have concerns about Facebook controlling everything.
