PRR is now officially in the ASX300.
So I figure this should result in increased volume (and flow on to an increase in share price), as super funds whose investment criteria includes the ASX300 will now need to pick up some PRR shares. But I'm not sure how often the funds change the actual mix of their holdings and reweight their portfolios as the index changes?
There hasn't been a big spike in SP on the back of the Ann to date, is this because the funds only adjust their index based holdings (say) every quarter? If this is the case then over the next few months there should be an increase in SP as the re-weighting occurs. Or am I completely on the wrong track, and inclusion of PRR to the ASX300 will have no impact on SP?
I figure there is probably someone on HC in the funds management industry who can shed some light on this!
