Mkt cap around $20m. $9m in the bank. over $3m over the next few years in r&d rebates. At least four different trials, so four shots at hitting a big pay day.

Plus one is for an indication with no current treatment. That makes it much easier to be commercially successful as there is no clinical competition. A small improvement is enough to get approval. Also very attractive for partnership/takeover.

Limited downside at the moment, due to large cash backing.

Personally I would expect this company to easily command a $100m mkt cap. That still gives lots of upside, given the potential value of their products.

In the UK or the US, the mkt cap would be even greater. Why mkt caps in Australia are always so low is a bit of a mystery, but possibly because Australia hasn't seen a massive gain on a biotech stock yet, like we have in the UK. I think one day that will change.

There's always risk of course. All four trials could fail. Unlikely given what we have seen so far, but you never know.

I've been a biotech investor for 20 years (I started very young). ptx looks one of the best I have ever seen. Definitely an egg to have in your basket.
