And herein lies the problem.

It's actually land belonging to the relevant State, as part of the Commonwealth of Australia.

Common Wealth of Australia.

For all Australians. Not a select few.

Aborigines need to understand that they are just Australians now, not a special subset or stand alone nation.

They never were a nation. There were hundreds of disparate tribes with different customs, language and boundaries all over the continent prior to European settlement.

About time ALL people in Australia saw themselves as Australians first and foremost. That goes for muslims and other arrivals from overseas who come here, then start agitating for changes to suit themselves.

I'm over it.

I think Aboriginal conservatism is a part of the problem as well, they keep yearning for a bygone era just hoping it will return, they need to realise they're not getting the land back and move on and start becoming apart of the forever progressing Australia.
