Ironbark222, that's a total mis-representation of what I've posted on this thread.
I would have thought that the overwhelming majority of Australians do their best to live those values which define us as Australian. Respecting others, giving a helping hand to those doing it tough and ensuring opportunity for all are core to our DNA. That's all I've been saying.
Those arguing otherwise need to explain why Aborigines should be treated in an un-Australian manner such as the forced closure of their communities following a denial of consultation and in the absence of a sound strategic WIN-WIN plan.
