FIRB approval should be in the bag- cant see the government not allowing foreign investment in a greenfields exploration farm out. Dont think anyone has come up with an example of this ever having happened, just look at the foreign investment in the immediate Aretmis region. Its in Australia's national interest to have its gas resources explored and monetised. If this risk has been priced in then it makes me that much more comfortable holding.

And just thinking out loud, imagine a CR where the time for acceptance of the offer is post the release of the drilling results- its a free call option provided to long term shareholders, and you never know when the record date is going to be. in any case with Albers being a major shareholder somehow i think MOG will find the money for its share of Well 2 or Well 3 even if Well 1 is a duster.

and time- at least im eating away my 12 month CGT discount period, already its a 23% saving in tax on hopefully a ten bagger.
