Dude...... have you not been doing your research about the app ? It is a messaging app. You have aggregated your contacts, ie from address book, facebook etc and now can message people cross platform from the one place in a content rich way. Facebook as a channel is not yet available, just instagram and the other channels there.
I suggest you go to the website or youtube and watch the videos on the app to see the functionality and how to use it....
