As for John Doran, his record speaks for itself and is a great operator and doesn't oversell how things actually are which is important in my mind.
Some people are attributing restrictions placed on ROC by the Angolan Govt as Doran being a poor communicator.
If you are operating in a foreign country and looking at possibly making substantial amounts of money from extracting and selling their oil you certainly play by their rules. don't see how or why ROC or Doran can be blamed for that one!
Plenty of upside to come for ROC through drilling especially in China.
