three amigos

This is Mr Lincoln Augustus, first second cousin of Holymagiman.

It is coming on to 5.30 am here in Kingston on this windy Wednesday morning and it is raining, so it looks like the fishing may be out. Perhaps it is good for the fields, and Holymagiman is hoping for a bumper crop.

So there is nothing much to do but to sit around and calculate that there are only 87 days left till the end of the year. I have to tell you that october 5th 1962 was the day when that first James Bond movie was released. Second cousin Tottinham Le'Henri acted in that movie, but he died very early, which was very unfair, because he was a good actor. We are sure that if he had got to live a little longer, that he would have got that Mr Bond for sure, but we will never know.


And we must not forget that it is Republic Day for Portugal, so many happy celebrations to Mr Seamfiend and Mr Buddyman and Mr Sathyath and we hope that you all have a good mouthful of those delicious Portugese tarts tonight.

And so we while away the time. and what better way to while away the time than to smoke the Jamaicca Numba One and lie back in bliss watching the waves abreaking.

And we must say that we have noticed that it has been a bit of a hectic day down there in Australia with little Metgasco.

It looks like there is a bit of buying, very strong, in fact. And we were all just debating what was going on.

For if one party was buying, there would be not such a hurry as was seen today. Unless we have some one who is in a big hurry, which would be a little stupid in this current market, where they can chew a few here, bite a few there and gradually swallow a mouthful without anyone being the wiser. So we figured that if one party was keen, they were goingabout things in too patently obvious a way.

Then we got to talking it over that perhaps some of our long lost friends were fighting their way into Metgasco because they realised that all the brothers had come over, and that made us no end happy, till Mr Mo-Mo came walking by in the rain, and we realised that blind people cannot see in the dark.

So we got back to first base and lit up another Jamaicca Numba One Extraspejil (as it is not everyday that is Portugal's Republic Day), had some Red Stripe and enjoyed the Portuguese tarts that Baboo had procured from some place last night, and I must say that they all are delicately soft with runny insides, which makes the whole experience most wonderous.

It was sometime when we were so engaged that Holymagiman stopped consuming his tart and said it is very strange that there were three.

And Alvin casually asked him what three, as Alvin too had his mouth full of tart and his head full of smoke.

And anyway, to cut a long story short, and it surely was a long story because Holymagiman did not think it was wise or polite to tallk with his mouth full, and we all agreed with him on that, apparantly, according to Holymagiman, and I would not be taking him too seriously, as he was filled with tart, he said that he had dreamt that there were three amigos who had been doing a lot of the buying since Monday, namely B*** P***** and C** and B*******. Holymagiman told us the names in astricks and so we write it as he said, because we do not know who he means.

And that has left us rather perplexed and wondering what is going on, but it goes a little way to maybe explaining to us why there was such a buying frenzy with three amigos competing with each other for the shares these last three days.

Alvin the Idiot thinks that it could be all our friends coming over to here fom there, all at the same time in a leaky boat, but that is Alvin the Idiot for you.

But we really must go now, for the day is breaking but I have left word with the lads to leave a couple of the tarts lying around just in case any of the three happy Portuguese gentlemen, namely Mr Seamfiend, Mr Buddy or Mr Sathyath decide to pop over for a dash of Jamican hospitality.
