There has been a massive increase of cases including ones with unknown origin, which coincided within a couple of weeks following the 21st August rallies. Maybe coincidence, but unlikely, as there was no other obvious events that would account for the sharp increase in unknown origins of cases.
I'm guessing that the ones who attended the rallies are more incline to be less cooperative about their movements and would have been less cautious within the community after the rallies.
Also note that those that attended the rallies had to move through the community to get to and from the rallies.
Daily cases have gone from around 60 to around 200 in the two weeks following the rally in Victoria.
