Recently read that about 600 children annually are hospitalised for RSV which is a respiratory virus. As all children had underlying conditions, it is likely that the cause of their hospitalisation is their underlying condition rather than covid.
The US CDC confirmed last year that only 6% of death were from covid, the rest were with covid as they had average of 2.6 underlying comorbidities.
