Uranium Australia continues to make progress with the IPO and ASX listing working together with its advisors and brokers. Uranium sector sentiment appears to be improving with investors showing renewed interest in Australian based uranium exploration companies. The Company is currently in discussions with a number of retail and institutional brokers, potential partners and cornerstone investors with the aim of progressing the IPO and listing on ASX.

Uranium Australia has been granted new uranium exploration tenements in Western Australia at its wholly owned Wonganoo project. The tenements cover part of the same palaeochannel system that contain the Yeelirrie and Lake Maitland uranium deposits. The company has also received offers of grant of exploration leases in the Gascoyne mineral province covering the Carlo Creek uranium project which contains a number of anomalies and uranium deposits. Uranium Australia intends to conduct the heritage survey with aim of obtaining required approvals to commence drilling of these deposits in the third quarter of 2010.

Uranium Australia has completed the 2009/2010 exploration program at its uranium properties within Rum Jungle mineral field in Northern Territory. Uranium Australia is currently preparing drilling program for the 2010/2011 exploration season which will be submitted shortly for government approval. The systematic evaluation of the uranium projects completed to date has yielded a number of previously unknown radiometric and geochemical uranium anomalies coinciding with geophysical and geological features indicating potential for near-surface uranium mineralisation.
