I am bemused the APPEA are against a Senate inquiry. They need the pollies to better understand the gas market and the role it plays. Their fear of greenie stunts should not overwhelm an opportunity for influence and understanding.

I have earlier tried to explain that unconventional gas producers with high costs are the marginal providers, who set the price and swing in and out of gas provision. CTP has nothing to fear from them - they have to do all the heavy lifting while CTP produces to capacity. RC has identified and got us to this position.

I urge the hyperactive commenters on this site busily rewriting history to take a pill.

Not a lot will happen until NEGI is built. We might get a chance to buy the other half of Mereenie. Perhaps some JV action. Meanwhile, there is enough revenue to pay the interest bill and salaries and fiddle around a bit. Be patient.
