I am not a holder but am posting as I attende3d an AMEC seminar today where Shaw presented.
Salient points are these -
1) the Manganese and some Fe is huge over a large tenemment area.
2) they are flat out CONCENTRATING on this one only, why?
3) they can get most likely Mn to the port for A$4 per saleable unit which should realise some A$16 per saleable unit!
4) they have their feet firmly on the ground with this. They will have rock chip samples assays in 8 weeks and from that will know the qulaity/grade
5) mapping is being carried out by a 65+ yr old guy, who did a similar project in SAF. He'll have completed the mapping of the terrain etc in 8 weeks.
6) they then intend planning the drilling, which is expected Dec, seasonal rains permitting.
Assays from that round of drilling, end Feb 09?
By then they'll have a great feel for what they have. Much research being done on the Woodie Woodie experience...they intend not to repeat that here...
I am going to get in, I reckon this is outstanding. They showed a helicopter ride over the territory. It absolutely amazed me that there has been NO EXPLORATION over the tennement.
There are Base Maetals as well...
