Maybe not hope but a cautionary tale.

I held CSS a long time ago. I got greedy and bought in. I was too greedy and impatient.

However, I also got scared.

I freaked out and gave up.

If I held them, I could have bought a modest home and a couple of units in a regional city (not metro prices, no).

If I also averaged down, I would be comfortably retired well before my time.

Hence why I keep on buying and won’t sell perhaps until 2026.

Yes this might end up being all loss. Then again perfectly profitable, “reputable” firms fall over too.

Several large banks and insurers fell in the GFC. WorldCom, Enron, TyCo, Webvan, Pets dot com.

A couple of weeks before AFG collapsed, CS issued a broker report recommending a buy and future dividends with respectable growth.
