good post Maple. Whether by accident or by design you are very correct that the whole exercise has slowed down AVO/Pala from steam rolling their way through a cheap gold fields mop up, and bought time and potentially significant opportunity for Ramelius now that the cash is rolling in.
In the meantime AVO will be distracted by the exercise of finalising the DIO integration and will be cash poor after paying far more than they originally intended for DIO.
