i was a sadistic kid in my younger days. I would drown flys (in water) and then bring them back to life by putting salt on them. The salt would draw the moisture from them and eventually fly away. Unfortunately some flies drowned more than others and were not revivable

well Australia Day on the sunny coast beach eating prawns, snacking on dip and chips and a rumbo in hand sounds like a plan! Haven’t been to the beach for 2024.
