It would seem that gold is presently being thumped, more than it is correcting, on account of gold investors selling a liquid asset for funding so as to meet margin calls. Short term gyrating should be ignored as distractive (if there is no such word, i just coined it, and expect this to be recognized in the next edition of the Oxford English Dictionary), just noise.
