As per the AGM Presentation (28/11/2013): Results from step-out holes are due in coming weeks.
Some of the recent results from the High Grade zone of Thunderbird were impressive and whilst better than expected they were always going to be good. Whilst these results could increase the resource in grade and somewhat in scale, the main purpose was to move the inferred resources within the High Grade zone to Indicated, possibly even measured(?).
IMO, the Step Out holes are what is going to have the biggest effect on the scale of any new resource statement.
Whilst it is nice hearing 'Mineral Resource for Thunderbird of 1.5BT at @ 6.5% HM, inc 600MT @ 10.1% (90% of which is indicated/measured)'; how much nicer would it be to hear 'Mineral Resource for Thunderbird of 2.5 or 3BT at @ 6.5% HM, inc 600MT @ 10.1% (90% of which is indicated/measured). Thunderbird is now the second largest HM Sands deposit in the world, the best discovered in the last 2 decades...'
