Of course that MACD is only +25 and the lows were -75.
It isn't unusual for the first move to equal the extremes so +75 is possible.
I have a MACD I divide by the close OR open which gives a better perspective on true momentum.
Without that MACD will always get bigger over time as prices always make new highs but is not adjusted for constant dollar or inflation etc.
