I'm not the most experienced on the dax, but what i think might be worth your time is to visit

Use support and Resis trend lines.
Try to learn and understand the methodolgy and then you can apply it to any chart.
The Dax and Ftse like their 100 point moves or divisions 50, 25.
The dax moves more quickly as there are less companys that make the index, i believe 30.
